major airlines and commuter lines.
Kennedy (JFK) and LaGuardia
airports
are about an hour and a
half (approx. 50 miles) to the west. If renting a car, follow the
car directions. If arriving in JFK or LaGuardia,
an airport shared shuttle bus will cost you about $40.00 for the trip to
Stony Brook (count on about a two hour ride), or about $60.00 to $100.00 for
an airport limo or a taxi service. If you arrive at Islip MacArthur airport,
it will cost you about $40.00 to $60.00 for a limo or a taxi service.
